Honey's Music Picks

Lately, I've been in really high spirits and my moods have been (for the most part) pleasant. So, naturally, I have been listening to the saddest songs in my music library. But I've been listening to them not because they are sad but because they are phenomenal songs! They evoke so much raw emotion. It's so powerful and real. So, even though they are sad, I hope you can enjoy them for their richness. I hope I don't depress you too much...

It turns out that my choice in saddest songs are all ballads sung by women of country! They just know how to do it right. No one can compete with that!

So, without further ado, here is Honey's top 4 saddest songs!

#4 If I Die Young by The Band Perry
This song ends up having a happier ending, which is why I listed it as number 4. I first heard this come on my Pandora and I felt seized with emotion. It's eerily cheerful.

#3 Just A Dream by Carrie Underwood
I couldn't decide which Carrie Underwood song was more depressing: Temporary Home or this song. But in the end, I went with this song because Carrie Underwood so perfectly executed her water-works.

#2 Stay by Sugarland
My sister showed me this video (and consequently, the song) several years ago while visiting me. She prefaced with, "Dude, listen to this song. It's SOOO sad, but SOOO good!" Have a box of tissues handy and stay clear if you're anticipating a visit from Aunt Flow soon. Jennifer Nettles is definitely singing from her soul and you'll see why.

#1 Concrete Angel by Martina McBride
Again, my sister showed me this video/song several years back. I don't even have words for it. Just watch. And then go outside and breathe some fresh air because you're gonna need it.

So there you have it! Honey's 4 saddest songs ever. And by no means is this exclusive. And by no means am I any type of music/song critic. :)

Here's the Deal: Ipsy!

Hey everyone! Honey here with another video! This week, I decided to talk about a recent subscription I started with Ipsy (www.ipsy.com). It is a monthly beauty subscription for only $10 a month! WOW! Incredible!

The company was co-founded by Michelle Phan, a Youtube giant! She's well-known for her make up tutorials and has an extremely large following on Youtube. Ipsy has also taken on several other Youtubers like Charis Lincoln (CharismaStarTV) and Promise Phan (dope2111).

Since I have been using the products in my January glam bag for a few weeks now, I decided to do a review. For more information, check out my video:

I hope you guys enjoy! Go check out Ipsy and tell me what you think! :)

Wishing you all health and happiness!
